On March 8th, the 23,000 DWT oil tanker (MW515-1) constructed by Fujian Shipbuilding Group's subsidiary Mawei Shipbuilding was successfully delivered. Representatives from Rongyida Shipping Co., Ltd., Xiamen C&D Marine Co., Ltd., China Classification Society (CCS) Fuzhou Branch, Fujian Shipbuilding Group, and other stakeholders attended the delivery ceremony.

Designed by Zhoushan Wanda Ship Design Co., Ltd., this oil tanker features a total length of 159.2 meters, length between perpendiculars (LBP) of 149.8 meters, moulded breadth of 26.8 meters, moulded depth of 14.85 meters, and scantling draft of 9.7 meters. With a deadweight of approximately 23,000 metric tons at structural draft and a design speed of 13 knots, the vessel is classed by CCS. It is specifically designed for transporting refined oil products with flash point ≤60°C, complying with requirements for unrestricted navigation area operations.

Following the execution of the vessel's resale contract between Mawei Shipbuilding and Rongyida Shipping on February 15 this year, this inaugural cooperation project achieved rapid delivery within one month through coordinated efforts from both parties. This accomplishment exemplifies Mawei Shipbuilding's implementation of refined management practices and efficiency optimization initiatives during its "Dedicated Start to the Opening Year" campaign, while also demonstrating the mutually beneficial partnership and collaborative synergy established with Rongyida Shipping.
