RONG YI DA GROUP LIMITED and Zhejiang Yongyuda International Shipping Co., Ltd. jointly held the keel-laying ceremony for a 13,800 DWT duplex stainless steel chemical tanker (Contract No. Yongyuda 13800-1) at Zhoushan Ningxing Shipbuilding & Repair Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Ningxing Shipyard”) in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province. Attendees included Mr. Sun Guozhong, Chairman of Zhejiang Yongyuda International Shipping Co., Ltd.; Mr. Chen Haoyuan, Chairman of RONG YI DA GROUP LIMITED; Mr. Zhao Guoqi, Vice General Manager of RONG YI DA GROUP LIMITED; and Mr. Wang Wentong, Chairman of Ningxing Shipyard.
The ceremony marked a critical milestone in the vessel’s construction phase. Representatives engaged in in-depth discussions on operational philosophies and collaborative strategies, emphasizing the need for IMC Shipping (China) Company Limited (Supervisory Authority) and Nantong Nuoderui Marine Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Design Contractor) to leverage their expertise in ensuring stringent quality control and adherence to project timelines. The vessel is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2025, bolstering the partners’ commitment to sustainable and high-value growth.

Mr. Sun Guozhong highlighted this vessel as the first keel-laid unit under Yongyuda’s 2025 chemical tanker delivery program, reflecting strong partner confidence. A follow-on “1+1” vessel construction agreement for identical 13,800 DWT duplex stainless steel tankers was finalized. RONG YI DA GROUP LIMITED, renowned for its maritime expertise and resource integration capabilities, reiterated its dedication to delivering high-performance vessels and premium services aligned with diversified market demands. The 13,800 DWT duplex stainless steel chemical tanker, classed by Bureau Veritas (BV), features a Length Overall (LOA) of 132 meters and a beam of 21.50 meters, with a service speed of 13.5 knots. The vessel complies with NOx Tier III emission standards and Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) Phase III requirements. Its cargo tanks are constructed with Duplex Stainless Steel 2205, equipped with independent pump systems per tank and a shaft generator for energy efficiency optimization. The design achieves best-in-class hydrodynamic performance, low carbon footprint, and operational reliability, positioning it as a leading solution in global chemical shipping markets.
